SAP CTRM Consultant

Remote role – but travel needed to St. John, NB once a month.

Length – 6 months contract.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP CTRM solutions, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Manage and support financial deal processes for derivatives, including:
  • Basket Swap
  • Pre-Crack Swap
  • Other commodity-linked derivative instrument
• Configure and optimize trade capture, pricing, valuation, and settlement processes.
• Design and deliver risk reporting frameworks.
• Physical commodity transaction.
• Financial exposure and P&L reporting.
• Ensure strong physical–finance linkage for accurate exposure management and reporting.
• Lead implementation and compliance of hedge accounting processes in line with IFRS/GAAP standard.
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, and Trading stakeholders to define business requirements and solution.
• Oversee integration with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, CO, MM, SD) and external trading system.
• Provide leadership to functional teams and act as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP CRTM.
• Support system enhancements, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiative.

• 8+ years of experience in SAP Commodity Risk & Trading Management (CRTM) or SAP TRM.
• Robust hands‑on experience with derivatives financial deal processing (e.g., swaps, structured products).
• Proven expertise in risk reporting and exposure management, including physical‑financial reconciliation.
• In-depth knowledge of hedge accounting processes and financial compliance requirements.
• Experience with SAP S/4
  
  HANA (preferred) or ECC CRTM implementation.
• Strong understanding of commodity trading lifecycle (front, mid, back office).
• Experience integrating SAP CRTM with FI/CO and other logistics modules.
• Some travel to St. John, NB might be needed.
