About the role:

We are actively seeking 2 financial analyst to join our FP&A team on an 18 month contract. The role will support the Finance team and is involved in many aspects of the business and liaises with the different
departments to ensure the work is aligned with IAMGOLD's values
and policies. The main responsibilities are to ensure accurate and timely closure of month-end, prepare monthly/ quarterly and annual deviation analyses, preparation of the annual budget and other ad-hoc analyses and projects as required.
This position reports to the Finance Supervisor and is based out of our Lively office. Monday to Friday schedule.

Responsibilities:

Support the monthly close process, including timely ledger close, journal entry preparation, reconciliations, and variance analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts

Coordinate and suggest improvements to the monthly cost accrual process.

Partner with operational departments to investigate variances, advise on cost coding and develop effective cost allocation
strategies.

Assist with the preparation of cost reporting at various levels of the business.

Support preparation of site budget and Life of Mine planning activities.

Liaison with internal and external audit teams and ensure adherence to Cote policies, procedures and controls.

Perform ad hoc financial analysis, support process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives, and take
ownership of additional tasks assigned.

Support with ERP implementation including assisting with master data clean up or end user testing

Knowledge of Fixed Asset management and costing in a large ERP system would be an asset

Qualifications

Key Skills & Knowledge:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field
Relevant Experience

Relevant

Experience:

3 or more years of experience working in the Finance field, direct experience in the mining industry
would be an asset

Skills & Strengths, We Value:

English proficiency for written and oral communications. French is considered an asset.

Good working knowledge of MS Office, including a high level of proficiency in MS Excel.

Experience with Oracle ERP considered an asset

Salary Range: $89,000- $133,500
