Position: Personal Debt Solutions Counsellor at BDO
Become a vital part of BDO Canada’s Personal Debt Solutions team as an Insolvency Counsellor, where you will assist clients with bankruptcies and financial planning in a dynamic office setting.

In this impactful role at BDO Canada, you will counsel both debtors and creditors through their insolvency processes, providing valuable insights into budgeting and credit rebuilding. You'll engage with clients to ensure adherence to compliance requirements while expanding your skills through outreach and professional development initiatives. This role encapsulates the essence of client-centered support, focusing on fostering financial responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with debtors' bankruptcy and proposals

• Provide BIA Counseling on financial planning topics

• Review client documentation for compliance assurance

• Conduct community outreach for business development

• Present financial literacy sessions and workshops

Requirements:

• Must have CAIRP Practical course completion

• Two or more years in insolvency or credit counseling

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
