How You’ll Make An Impact

As a Business Risk Analyst supporting FCC's Trading, Securities Lending, and Treasury businesses, you will help identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks across key capital markets functions. You will leverage strong analytical skills to develop and enhance risk reporting, dashboards, and key risk metrics, transforming data into actionable insights that support informed decision‑making and risk oversight.

You will lead RCSAs, conduct operational risk reviews, analyze risk trends and events, and evaluate the effectiveness of key controls to strengthen the overall risk and control environment. By combining data analysis with risk expertise, you will identify emerging risks, highlight opportunities for process improvements, and provide meaningful recommendations to business leaders.

In addition, you will represent Risk Management in business and technology change initiatives impacting Trading, Treasury & Securities Lending, ensuring risks, controls, and governance requirements are appropriately incorporated throughout the project lifecycle.

Success in this role requires strong analytical thinking, operational risk expertise, reporting and visualization capabilities, and effective stakeholder management. The successful candidate will be adept at identifying and assessing operational risks, evaluating control effectiveness, leading risk assessments and change initiatives, and translating complex data and risk information into actionable recommendations that strengthen the business and control environment.

What You Will Do Operational Risk Management
  • Partner with Trading, Securities Lending, and Treasury business leaders to identify, assess, and monitor operational risks.
  • Execute and maintain risk management program requirements, including risk assessments/RCSAs, issue management, risk event reviews, and action plan tracking.
  • Conduct process walkthroughs, control assessments, and targeted risk reviews to identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on operational risk events and control failures.
  • Challenge and validate remediation plans to ensure risks are appropriately addressed.
  • Support the development and maintenance of key risk indicators (KRIs).
Change and Project Risk Management
  • Represent Risk Management on Trading, Treasury, and Securities Lending business and technology change initiatives.
  • Provide risk and control guidance throughout project life cycles, including new products, process enhancements, system implementations, and regulatory initiatives.
