The Senior Financial Analyst plays an essential role under the Manager of Financial Reporting, contributing by preparing complex financial analyses and reports. This position involves evaluating internal controls, interpreting accounting standards, and conducting financial analyses for special projects. You'll guide other Financial Analysts while ensuring timely reporting to external agencies and supporting month-end and year-end financial statements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review grant-related financial reports

• Evaluate and review internal controls for accuracy

• Conduct financial analyses for special projects

• Assist in financial statement audits and tax compliance

• Respond to stakeholder inquiries with clear information

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree in accounting or related field

• 3-5 years financial reporting experience

• Strong knowledge of PSAS and GAAP

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Proven ability to manage competing priorities
