Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure Services Management

Own and continuously improve service costing methodologies across compute, storage, backup, databases, operating systems, patch management, and other infrastructure services.

Establish and maintain standardized methodologies for infrastructure cost allocations and unit pricing.

Cost Allocation and Service Consumption

Lead the infrastructure cost allocation process, ensuring accurate and timely allocation of infrastructure service costs to business units.

Validate infrastructure consumption data, including servers, storage, databases, backup, and other infrastructure technology services.

Partner with Infrastructure teams to ensure service inventories and consumption metrics are accurate and complete.

Identify opportunities to simplify and improve allocation methodologies while increasing financial transparency.

Finance Partnership

Serve as the primary Infrastructure liaison for Finance regarding service costing, chargeback methodologies, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Collaborate with Finance to validate cost center mappings, allocation assumptions, and financial models.

Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial planning activities by providing infrastructure cost analysis and consumption data.

Ensure infrastructure financial processes align with corporate financial policies and standards.

Analyze financial and operational trends to identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved efficiency.

Business Partnership

Act as the primary point of contact for business units regarding infrastructure service costs and allocations.

Present allocation methodologies, unit pricing, and supporting analysis to business stakeholders.

Respond to allocation inquiries and provide clear, data-driven explanations supporting infrastructure charges.

Build trusted relationships with business leaders by promoting financial transparency and consistent communication.

Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to automate infrastructure cost allocation, and data collection.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance financial transparency and reduce manual effort.

Identify opportunities to simplify and improve allocation methodologies while increasing financial transparency.

Cross-Functional Leadership

Build collaborative relationships across Infrastructure, Finance, Procurement, Cyber Security, Cloud, Network, PMO, and business organizations.

Education/Training

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Minimal Requirements & Skills

10 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, IT financial management, technology cost management, infrastructure operations, or related disciplines.

Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, chargeback, showback, financial planning, or technology financial management initiatives.

Experience partnering with Finance, business stakeholders, and technology organizations within a large enterprise environment.

Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure services, including compute, storage, backup, databases, operating systems, cloud services, virtualization, and managed service operations.

Advanced financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex financial models, and advanced reporting techniques.
