The Senior (Sr.) Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes within Bond. This role will involve working closely with various departments to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business performance and strategic initiatives.
Please note:
This is a hybrid role. When in-office presence is required, the incumbent will be based at our Mississauga office, located at 6911 Mississauga Road, Mississauga.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis and 3+ years in a financial planning and analysis role, preferably within marketing services or a related industry.
- Enrolled or completed a Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, eg. Mass data manipulations, pivot tables & reporting, advanced conditional formatting, formulas, Macros, data simulations and modeling.
- Proficient in financial software (e.g. Net Suite, Oracle, and SAP), as well as FP&A systems, with a focus on driving efficiency improvements through automation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments to achieve required deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional listening, analytical, attention to detail, prioritization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, organization, communication (oral and written), and presentation skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Working knowledge of Net Suite, MS Dynamics and PowerBI is an asset.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Analyze financial performance against key metrics and identify trends for improvement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management.
- Prepare accurate and timely forecasts; monitor results versus budget/forecast and investigate variances.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Work with department heads to ensure budgets align with the company's strategic goals.
- Provide insights and recommendations for budget adjustments.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support various business scenarios.
- Identify inefficiencies in financial processes and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve data integrity.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic planning and business development.
- Evaluate new business opportunities, including pricing strategies, ROI analysis, and risk assessment.
Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Assist in the development and implementation of risk management strategies.
- Be a key business partner to Sector Leads, Client Leads and Project Managers by providing key financial data to aid in strategic decision making
The expected base salary compensation for this role is $77,133.00 to $ CAD annually.
