Position: Venue Porter for Events and Setup
We're hiring a Venue Porter to facilitate event setups at Mississauga Convention Centre. The ideal candidate should be punctual, hardworking, and equipped to handle a busy environment.

Your primary duties will focus on ensuring all setups are performed accurately, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with various event tasks. Prior experience in similar roles, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work flexible hours are essential for this position. You'll help create safe and inviting spaces for guests during events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure accurate completion of event setups and takedowns

• Maintain cleanliness in areas before and during events

• Set up and dismantle furniture, equipment, and décor

• Assist with waste management and facility upkeep

• Support event staff with key operational tasks

Requirements:

• Previous porter or event setup experience required

• Must be detail-oriented and reliable

• Ability to lift and move heavy items as necessary

• Availability for evenings, weekends, and events

• Positive attitude and readiness to help as needed
