You will work alongside SOTI’s partners which include leading tech giants that will keep you on the cusp of emerging technologies. What You’ll Do Lead and manage the Talent Acquisition team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the team's success. Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the tech industry, including passive candidates and diverse talent pools.
Collaborate with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment plans to fulfill those needs. Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers, ensuring a positive candidate experience at every stage. Utilize data-driven insights and metrics to continuously evaluate and optimize recruitment processes and strategies. Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in talent acquisition, and incorporate them into our recruitment approach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including recruitment agencies, universities, and industry associations, to expand our talent network and enhance our employer brand. Manage recruitment-related projects and initiatives as assigned, demonstrating strong project management skills and attention to detail. Work collaboratively with the team to update and improve employee referral programs, social media strategies, competency-based interview guides, internal talent acquisition strategies and SOTI branding.
Develop cost-effective, efficient solutions to address current and future staffing needs, including proactive sourcing, advertising, pre-screening, assessments, references, etc. Develop, track and report on Talent Acquisition activity and performance and leverage technology and automation to improve the effectiveness of recruitment processes and enhance the candidate experience while minimizing costs. Qualifications and Experience You’ll Bring A minimum of 8+ years of leadership experience within Talent Acquisition, with at least 3 - 5 years in a leadership role within the tech industry.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline – master’s degree preferred. Extensive experience in leading a team of professionals – proven people management skills with the ability to coach, lead, direct, mentor and motivate a multi-location team and create an engaging, performance-focused working environment. Depth of experience/knowledge in Talent Acquisition, including targeted sourcing strategies, social media campaigns, and candidate assessment Pro-active leader with exceptional decision-making skills and the ability to manage expectations effectively to achieve multiple, competing priorities successfully.
A strong understanding of human resources programs, policies and practices related to recruitment, employment equity, and workplace diversity. Proven ability to bring new and creative ideas, strategies, and initiatives. With superior ability to make an impact, influence decisions and nurture relationships.…
