Position: Talent Acquisition - 12 Months Contract
As the Talent Acquisition Specialist (1-Year Contract), you will drive full-lifecycle recruitment across diverse functional business groups including Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance. You will act as a brand ambassador to ensure candidates experience a high-touch, positive hiring journey regardless of outcomes, while partnering closely with business leaders and hiring managers to execute strategic sourcing plans and deliver high-quality talent.

Responsibilities
Full Lifecycle Recruitment:
Manage end-to-end recruitment activities including sourcing, screening internal and external candidates, interviewing, and managing the offer process.

Stakeholder Management:
Partner with hiring managers across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to understand business needs and talent requirements.

Sourcing & Networking:
Source passive candidates using strong networking skills, social media channels, and employee referral pipelines.

Campus Recruitment:
Lead and manage campus recruitment events to build relationships and construct talent pipelines for early-career opportunities.

Performance Metrics:
Consistently deliver against core recruitment metrics/KPIs while maintaining a high quality of hire.

Candidate

Experience:

Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining proactive communication and providing constructive feedback and coaching to internal applicants throughout the process.

HR Projects:
Support broader HR initiatives and creative projects aimed at raising customer service levels.

Qualifications

Education:

College or University degree/diploma in Human Resources or a relevant area of study.

Experience:

2–3 years of recruiting experience within a global corporate environment.

Technical

Skills:

Experience utilizing Workday ATS (or another enterprise Applicant Tracking System) is a strong asset.

Languages:

Bilingualism in English and French is a strong asset.

Licensing:
Full Driver's License (G License) with access to a vehicle and a clean driving record.

Core Competencies:

Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and customer service skills; high energy, self-motivated, adaptable, and able to problem-solve under tight deadlines.

Summary
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team working on a hybrid model based in Mississauga, Ontario, reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. In this role, you will bring a high level of energy and passion, multi-task, and facilitate the full recruiting lifecycle. You will manage multiple vacancies and develop strong candidate networks of passively seeking candidates for current and future openings.
