In this pivotal role within the Senior Fire Management Team, you will oversee strategic fire prevention initiatives, ensuring regulations and community needs are met. Your leadership will focus on public education programs and compliance inspections, ultimately enhancing community safety across Mississauga.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct fire prevention education and outreach efforts

• Ensure enforcement of fire safety regulations

• Oversee inspections and compliance of premises

• Manage fire investigation activities and reporting

• Supervise day-to-day activities of fire prevention staff

Requirements:

• Degree in Fire Protection Technology or similar

• At least 5 years in Fire Prevention roles

• Fire Inspector II Certification required

• Significant knowledge of FPPA and Building Codes

• Valid Class “G” Driver's Licence required

Lead the advancement of fire safety measures to protect the Mississauga community.
