Position: Fund Development Executive at Friends of Ruby
Join Friends of Ruby as a Fund Development Executive, focusing on fundraising and marketing strategies to empower LGBTQIA+ youth. This hybrid role requires strong leadership in building donor relationships.

As a Fund Development Executive, you will lead all fundraising initiatives for Friends of Ruby beginning Fall 2026. The role focuses on crafting a clear action plan to drive revenue growth while championing the organization’s mission within the community. You will work closely with the Executive Director and Board to enhance brand recognition and develop a culture of philanthropy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create multi-year fundraising strategies to achieve financial goals

• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders

• Direct marketing efforts to elevate the organization's presence

• Coach and support the fund development team

• Ensure adherence to ethical fundraising practices and guidelines

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in fundraising leadership roles

• Proven success in securing major gifts

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Experience with financial management and planning

• Alignment with Friends of Ruby’s values and mission
