As a Financial Planner, you will focus on developing and deepening client relationships by providing high‑quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. You will leverage your external networks and centers of influence, building long-term relationships, and ensuring clients receive investment and financial‑planning advice to meet their unique goals.
Flexibility is offered to meet clients outside the office on a schedule that works best for both parties.
- Business Development:
Execute business development plans for prospects and existing clients within the mass affluent market; identify additional opportunities and facilitate implementation of investment solutions and/or referrals to the appropriate partners. - Client‑Centric:
Provide client‑centric investment solutions through a financial‑planning framework, aligning with Global Sales Principles. Conduct outbound communications and proactive calling to prospects to remain top‑of‑mind for future business opportunities. Conduct complimentary needs analysis across several financial statements, including competitor statements. - Community Involvement:
Participate actively in local professional and community events and associations; deliver community information sessions and financial seminars to grow prospects. Build and maintain a market profile in the assigned area. Network with investment industry specialists while managing a small budget for independent marketing activities. - Drive investment sales and new client acquisition while adhering to Global Sales Principles, compliance and regulatory requirements.
- 3 years of experience in financial planning and investment sales.
- Mutual Funds Certified Professional with current accreditation and good standing for MFDA licensing requirements.
- Successfully completed a Personal Financial Planning (PFP®) designation and/or a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.
- Proven networking, client acquisition and interpersonal skills; experience building and maintaining Centers of Influence (COIs).
- Goal‑oriented and entrepreneurial, able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team.
- Extensive knowledge of competitive offerings, market trends, economic conditions and the regulatory environment.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle to meet clients and prospects within the designated district.
