This role focuses on corporate initiatives, securing net‑new acquisition, and revenue expansion within existing customers. Specialists offer strategic pricing expertise and mentor within the district to accelerate the sales cycle and bring incremental revenue.
Responsibilities
Target new business opportunities by identifying potential new customers and growing revenue.
Conduct background research on potential customers, discuss their supply chain with decision makers, and analyze customer needs.
Develop and implement transportation and digital value propositions and customized pricing.
Utilize Customer Data Enablement, Suggested Calls, and other data‑driven reporting to identify opportunities.
Communicate regularly with manager and peers within the Sales organization about joint sales call opportunities and lead generation.
Produce and present customized strategic pricing to customers using senior level negotiation skills.
Collaborate with sales peers, marketing, finance, operations, and other areas to identify issues and initiate solutions supporting revenue growth.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Five (5) years of business‑to‑business sales or related experience.
Ability to travel overnight as required.
Must be able to operate in a PC Windows environment and maintain required annual accreditations.
Valid driver’s license (Class 5, G, or 1[AZ]) and a driving record with two or fewer violations or accidents in the 24 months prior to application.
If residing in Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English).
Job Conditions
Heavy overnight travel required.
