Biotech Chromatography Scientist Position

Elevate biopharmaceutical testing standards as a Biotech Chromatography Scientist us on method development, validation, and training analysts in a leading laboratory setting.

SGS is looking for an innovative scientist who can develop and validate analytical methods for biopharmaceutical products and raw materials. This role requires strong decision-making skills to optimize testing methodologies while leading small to mid-sized projects. You will be responsible for the guidance and training of analysts, ensuring high-quality outcomes in a timely manner, while utilizing your expertise in Mass Spectrometry and various chromatography techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee method development and validation for biopharmaceutical testing

• Guide and train laboratory analysts in protocol execution

• Manage client communications and project delivery timelines

• Write comprehensive protocols and analytical reports

• Troubleshoot and optimize methods based on client feedback

Requirements:

• Education at BSc or MSc/PhD level

• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience

• Knowledge of analytical techniques like HPLC and UPLC

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong ability to perform under pressure in a laboratory
