Position: Environmental Advisor for MCK Consultation
Join Kahnawà:ke's efforts in environmental safeguarding as an Environmental Consultation Advisor with the MCK Consultation Committee. Provide expertise on projects, policies, and legislation impacting the local environment.

This role offers a chance to engage directly with the environment through field visits and consultation meetings. As an Environmental Consultation Advisor, you will represent KEPO, maintaining environmental consultation files and ensuring all proposed activities align with best practices. Your expertise will help shape recommendations that protect the lands for future generations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent KEPO on the MCK Consultation Committee

• Maintain and update environmental consultation files

• Review environmental documentation for proposed projects

• Prepare environmental positions for MCK meetings

• Conduct field assessments of project impacts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Environmental Sciences or related field

• Four years relevant environmental experience

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Attention to detail and independent work ability

• Willingness to learn the Kanien’kéha language
