Sampling Technician

As a full-time Sampling Technician, you will be vital in maintaining pollution control standards. Reporting to the Supervisor of Pollution Control, your responsibilities include collecting wastewater samples and documenting all sampling activities. This role is essential for laboratory analysis and compliance with the Wastewater By-law 53-2010.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect wastewater samples from local industries

• Document and submit all sampling data accurately

• Maintain and prepare sampling equipment

• Schedule daily sampling routes efficiently

• Identify potential water pollution hazards and report

Requirements:

• Degree/diploma in Chemistry or Environmental field

• 1-3 years of related experience preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Analytical skills for informed decision-making

• Ability to lead and coordinate team activities
