You will join the Mining Environmental Approvals team at WSP, collaborating with experts from various fields. This role entails preparing technical reports, assessing impacts on water resources, and ensuring adherence to environmental regulations. Your interaction with clients and regulators will help drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage environmental permitting for mining operations
• Prepare comprehensive approval applications and reports
• Conduct water quality assessments and data interpretation
• Participate in stakeholder engagement processes
• Monitor regulatory standards relevant to mining
Requirements:
• Relevant Bachelor's degree; post-graduate preferred
• Over five years of related consulting experience
• Proven experience in water quality evaluation
• Familiarity with Ontario regulations
• Effective communication and multitasking skills
