Position: WSP Intermediate Technician Role
Support critical environmental initiatives as an Intermediate Field Technician at WSP, based in Mississauga, Ontario. This role emphasizes field data collection and equipment installation within dynamic environments.

In the position of Intermediate Field Technician, you'll be integral to our Surface Water team, implementing water monitoring programs across various sites. Your responsibilities will merge extensive fieldwork—making up 75-85% of your activities—with important data analysis tasks. Anticipate travel for remote assignments and enjoy the opportunity for bankable overtime during busy seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce health and safety protocols in the field

• Perform precise flow measurements and topographic surveys

• Organize field materials and client communications for smooth operations

• Create thorough field notes that ensure accurate environmental data

• Analyze collected data to enhance project outcomes

Requirements:

• Environmental Technician/Technologist diploma or similar qualification

• Proven experience in field data collection methods

• Full Class G driver's license with good standing

• Skilled in Microsoft Office for data management and report writing

• Prepared for travel and fieldwork in diverse conditions
