Lead environmental risk assessment at WSP using toxicology and exposure modelling to guide complex decisions across Canada. Provide technical leadership within a nationally connected practice.
As a Senior Risk Assessment Specialist, you will lead human health and ecological risk assessments across varied sectors. You will translate scientific evidence into practical strategies supporting environmental approvals, remediation, and contaminated sites management. The work includes client advice, multidisciplinary leadership, and mentoring emerging professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead human health and ecological risk assessments
- Direct exposure assessments and environmental health studies
- Provide technical direction in toxicology and risk characterization
- Develop risk management strategies for complex projects
- Mentor professionals across WSP’s national practice
- Degree in toxicology, environmental science, or related discipline
- Ten to fifteen years of environmental risk assessment experience
- Knowledge of Canadian risk assessment frameworks and regulations
- Advanced toxicology and exposure modelling knowledge
- Professional organization membership or eligibility
