Electrician Position

Position: Full-Time Electrician Position
Become a Maintenance Electrician at Conestoga Cold Storage in Mississauga, Ontario. This full-time opportunity is focused on maintaining equipment in a state-of-the-art cold storage facility.

You’ll be responsible for the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and warehouse machinery. A background in interpreting electrical schematics and knowledge of electrical codes will be critical. Working within refrigerated environments, you will ensure operational efficiency and reliability of automated systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and maintain refrigeration equipment

• Install and test electrical systems and devices

• Adhere to preventative maintenance schedules

• Direct and train staff in electrical matters

• Interpret electrical drawings and standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

• Preference for Journeyperson Electricians (309A or 442A)

• Comprehensive understanding of the Ontario Electrical Code

• Experience with PLCs and data communication systems is beneficial

• Willingness for on-call and overtime work
