Electrician/ Electrician Installation, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
4 DAY WORK WEEK, MONDAY - THURSDAY, 7:00 A.M.
- 5:30 P.M.
METAL STAMPING/FABRICATION INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
* Responsibilities:
• Install ,examine, replace test, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electric wiring, fixture, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, control devices and other electrical components
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial electrical equipment
• Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
• Maintain, repair, install and test switch gear, transformers, switchboard meters, regulators, etc..
• Repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systems
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical/electronic control systems and other related devices
• Direct and train other workers and apprentices to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs through inspection of electric systems and keep maintenance records
• Work well as a team member in all situations
• Programming PLC
• Ensure all work performed adheres to all relevant organizational, provincial and federal safety regulations, codes and specifications
• Follow quality management systems policy, procedures and work instructions manuals as per ISO requirements
Certificate of Qualification 442A or 309A
3-5 years' previous experience working in a Metal Stamping/Fabrication facility.
