NDT Technician CGSB Level 2

Location: Wood Buffalo Region Schedule: 10/4 shift (10 days on 4 days off 10hr days)

Stuart Olson is currently hiring experienced NDT Technicians for work at a client site in the Wood Buffalo region. Successful candidates will hold CGSB certifications in UT-1, MT-2, PT-2, as well as PMI/XRF qualifications. • Perform assigned NDE/NDT inspection methods.
• Utilize written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
• Follow standards and procedures and monitor to ensure accuracy of results and meets quality and safety objectives and project time-lines.
• Ability to maintain positive working relationships with Clients.

• CGSB UT-1/MT-2/PT-2 and XRF-1
• IRATA Rope Access, Level 1 or 2 considered an asset
• Valid driver’s license
• CSTS 09 or CSO
• Experience in heavy oil operating environment
• Exceptional safety and quality awareness
• Positive attitude to safety, quality, and team
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Pre-site Drug and Alcohol testing

• Working both indoors and outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
• Working at heights
• Working in and around noise and dust
• Must be clean shaven
• Personal safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.

• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Ability to stand, crouch, and kneel for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 25kg
• Climbing stairs/ladders regularly
  
  Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, and sharp hand tools
• Work with full face mask in CSE
