RESPONSIBILITIES

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of construction and heavy equipment

Inspect equipment to identify faults, failures, and potential issues

Perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements using hand and power tools

Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems

Complete preventative maintenance and routine servicing on equipment

Service attachments and related equipment components

Test repaired equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance

Complete service reports, work orders, and maintenance documentation accurately

Estimate repair requirements and communicate findings effectively

Order parts and materials required to complete repairs efficiently

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Collaborate with service and operations teams to ensure timely repairs and support

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy equipment

Licensed Heavy Equipment Technician (421A) preferred

310T, 310S, or related mechanical certifications are considered an asset

Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills

Experience working with construction equipment such as CAT, Genie, Skyjack, or similar equipment

Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and equipment controls

Experience with diagnostic software (CAT ET/SIS considered an asset)

Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation

Personal tools required for the role
