Target Drywall Apprentice Plasterer

Target Drywall & Acoustics Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Plaster and Taper Apprentice for full-time work in the GTA. Earn a competitive hourly wage while honing your plastering skills across various job sites.

In this role, you will gain practical training and experience, focusing on plaster application and drywall finishing techniques. You will be responsible for tasks like mixing plaster, applying finishes, and conducting repairs, all while following best safety practices on the job. Your ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members will be essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mix and apply plaster for smoothing applications

• Review and address PDI deficiency lists

• Perform drywall patching and finishing work

• Maintain cleanliness and protect finished areas

• Coordinate with other trades and supervisors

Requirements:

• 1-2 years’ experience in handyman or related roles

• Knowledge of drywall and finishing tools

• Capacity to lift heavy materials and work on ladders

• Own basic tools and possess reliable transport

• Valid driver's license for site access
