As a Diesel Truck Technician II, you're integral to ensuring our fleet remains operational. At Penske Truck Leasing, you will focus on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various truck systems while working alongside seasoned professionals. Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out repairs on diesel engines and components
• Conduct preventive maintenance and routine inspections
• Inspect and test critical truck systems
• Utilize hand and power tools for equipment adjustments
• Keep accurate records and documentation of repairs
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in truck maintenance
• Required enrollment in an apprentice program
• Current valid driver's license class G or 5; obtain DZ within 6 months
• Proficiency in shop tools is essential
• Basic computer skills for tracking maintenance tasks
