Schedule Options:
- Monday-Thursday | 4:30 AM-3:00 PM
- Monday-Thursday | 6:30 AM-5:00 PM
- Monday-Thursday | 3:00 PM-1:30 AM
We are looking for a dependable, safety-focused 310T Truck & Coach Technician / HET or Level 3-4 Apprentice to join our maintenance team.
You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining fleet equipment, completing preventative maintenance, and helping keep our trucks operating safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Perform preventative maintenance inspections and repairs.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Complete assigned repairs within industry-standard repair times.
- Stay current with new technologies and repair practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized shop environment.
- Communicate equipment issues and concerns to management.
- Provide guidance and support to apprentices as required.
- Work occasional weekends when required.
- 310T / HET certification preferred;
Level 3 or 4 Apprentice considered. - Strong knowledge of truck repair and shop practices.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical issues using SRTs.
- Own tools required.
- Self-motivated with a strong focus on quality and productivity.
- Comfortable using a computer for electronic punch times and payroll.
- Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including removing tractor wheel assemblies weighing up to 120 lbs.
- Comfortable working around exhaust, chemicals, vibration and shop noise.
