Aircraft Maintenance Technician at Porter Airlines

Become an Aircraft Maintenance Technician with Porter Airlines at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Support the Embraer E195 E2 fleet by conducting structural repairs and collaborating with engineers.

This critical position reports to the Manager of Line Maintenance and focuses on maintaining safety and compliance. You will request technical support, assess structural damage, and review repair manuals. Proficiency in teamwork and problem-solving will ensure effective coordination of repairs and overall quality in maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Embraer engineering with repair instructions

• Assess structural damage and suggest repair solutions

• Review Structural Repair Manuals for compliance

• Recommend clarifications on repair documents

• Maintain accurate repair and inspection records

Requirements:

• College diploma in aircraft maintenance

• Must possess Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License, CAT S

• Thorough knowledge of Structural Repair Manuals

• Strong communication and analytical skills

• Ability to travel on short notice
