Industrial Electrician PLC Automation

Use PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting as an Electrician with Maple Leaf Foods. Support complex production equipment with minimal supervision in manufacturing operations.

This Electrician role supports Maple Leaf Foods production equipment and automation. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair equipment while identifying mechanical and electrical problems. The work includes PLCs, HMIs, preventative maintenance, drawings, computerized maintenance management systems, and production performance checks.

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair complex production equipment
• Program and repair PLC, HMI, and automation devices
• Identify mechanical and electrical equipment problems
• Participate in preventative maintenance procedures
• Maintain compliance with GMP, HACCP, WHMIS, and safety requirements

• Manufacturing environment experience is an asset
• Full complement of personal and professional hand tools
• Basic computer ability and strong communication skills
• Safety-conscious approach with attention to detail
• Ability to lift heavily and work independently
