Lead vehicle fleet maintenance through technical guidance, OSHA compliance, and hands-on repair work at Fed Ex repair facilities.
As Lead Global Vehicle Technician, you will support safe, efficient maintenance of fleet vehicles and ground support equipment. You will guide experienced and developing technicians, including senior technicians, technicians, and trainees. The work requires troubleshooting knowledge across hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and hybrid equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct technical performance of vehicle fleet maintenance
- Support safe, efficient repair facility operations
- Guide staff technicians and trainees through maintenance work
- Verify compliance with OSHA and DOT standards
- Repair equipment and vehicles when necessary
- Automotive Service Technician or Truck & Coach Technician training
- Certified diploma from a completed vehicle apprentice program
- Three years fleet experience and one senior technician year
- Proficiency operating personal computers
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
Use fleet maintenance leadership, equipment troubleshooting, and technician guidance to support Fed Ex repair facility standards.
