About the Firm
We provide custom solutions for mining, thermal imaging in the oil sands, Fire Watch cameras for heat detection, tactical PTZ video for military, police, and other large industrial equipment items.
Essential Tasks- Sales & Quotation Support:
Receive and manage incoming requests for quotations (RFQs) from customers and sales. - Prepare and process quotations accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with engineering, operations, or management to gather pricing and technical details.
- Follow up on outstanding quotations, opportunities, and customers.
- Assist outside sales representatives with account support and monitoring quote pipelines to ensure opportunities progress through the sales hub.
- Maintain accurate customer, contact, deal, and activity records.
- Track incoming leads, opportunities, quotations, and follow‑up.
- Ensure CRM data integrity and assist with sales reporting, pipeline updates, and dashboards.
- Help improve CRM workflows and sales administration.
- Coordinate communication between sales, operations, and admin teams regarding active opportunities and customer requirements.
- Support sales process improvements and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for moving sales opportunities across the sales cycle.
- Assist with sales‑related documentation, quote coordination, and customer activity.
- Previous inside sales, sales support, customer service, or administrative experience.
- Experience with CRM systems such as Hub Spot.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Detail‑oriented with strong follow‑through.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and general computer usage.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Industrial distribution, manufacturing, technical products, or B2B sales experience.
- Handling quotations, RFQs, and sales coordination.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and sales.
Salary range: 65K to 78K. Actual compensation will be determined based on the successful candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications and may fall anywhere within the range.
