Location: Fulton
The Payroll Assistant ensures accurate and timely payroll processing, complies with company policies and regulations, reviews time‑keeping records, maintains payroll data, calculates wages, addresses employee inquiries, and supports audits and year‑end activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review and verify employee time‑keeping records for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain and update payroll information, including pay rates, deductions, and benefits.
- Assist with wage calculations—overtime, bonuses, and other compensation.
- Ensure proper payroll tax with holdings and deductions.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues.
- Reconcile payroll reports and support audits and year‑end tax form preparation.
