Accountant, Financial Reporting, Senior Accountant

• Support the Corporate Accounting function through accurate recording, reconciliation, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions
• Record and post cash transactions, intercompany activity, journal entries, and other general ledger transactions
• Perform bank reconciliations and balance sheet account reconciliations
• Monitor cash activity for completeness, accuracy, and proper accounting treatment
• Prepare and maintain supporting schedules, work papers, and account analyses
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities and business units
• Assist with financial reports and supporting documentation
• Prepare audit schedules and respond to internal and external auditor requests
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, Treasury, and operational teams to resolve accounting discrepancies
• Analyze accounting and financial data for management reporting and ad hoc requests
• Support ownership and reconciliation of assigned balance sheet accounts
• Assist with variance analysis and financial reporting activities
• Develop and enhance accounting reports, reconciliations, and templates using Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and ERP systems
• Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, and streamline recurring accounting processes
• Participate in accounting system enhancements, process improvement initiatives, and special projects
• Maintain compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and U.S. GAAP
• Safeguard confidential financial information and company records

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2-5 years of accounting experience in corporate accounting, general ledger accounting, public accounting, or cash accounting environments
• Experience supporting month-end close processes and account reconciliations
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial accounting principles
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting activities
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and data analysis techniques
• Experience with ERP or financial accounting systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
• Strong aptitude for technology, reporting tools, automation, and systems optimization
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality
• CPA candidate or progress toward professional certification preferred
• Experience with in a multi-entity or growing corporate environment preferred
• Working knowledge of Power Query, Power Pivot, and/or Power BI preferred

Demonstrates expertise in corporate accounting, including financial transaction recording, reconciliation, and reporting, while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. Proficient in utilizing advanced Excel functions and ERP systems to enhance financial reporting and streamline accounting processes.
