Job Overview

Rainforest Carwash and Oil Change is seeking a Quick Lube Assistant Manager Trainee for a new location in Magee. Candidates should have previous management and automotive maintenance experience to help manage the new Quick Lube. As you learn to manage the shop, you will be eligible for salary increases and bonus pay.

Responsibilities
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft tools and general computer skills
  • Previous experience managing a business, hiring employees, and handling cash
  • Automotive maintenance or mechanical experience is a plus
  • Work a five‑day week, normally home by 8 pm (some days earlier)
  • Work 45 hours per week and expect weekend shifts
  • Train to run day‑to‑day shop operations
  • Inspect and replace engine air filters, cabin air filters, tire pressure, and wiper blades
  • Change oil and filter in under 10 minutes and make oil recommendations that meet vehicle specifications
  • Identify and inform customers of leaks, damage, or services requiring immediate attention
  • Engage in teamwork and maintain a clean, organized shop/work space
  • Possess a comprehensive knowledge of current and older model vehicles to explain maintenance needs to customers
  • Be able to stand for long periods and work in a fast‑paced environment
Requirements
  • Full‑time, hourly pay ranging from $14 to $15 per hour based on experience
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience preferred
  • Ability to meet a high level of service and performance standards
  • Strong commitment to customer satisfaction
