Responsibilities
  • Perform work outlined on repair orders according to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Complete oil changes, replace oil and air filters, and inspect fluid levels
  • Check and maintain tire pressure
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including:
    • Engine
    • Transmission
    • Electrical
    • Steering and suspension
    • Brakes
    • Air conditioning
  • Use diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment effectively
  • Test‑drive vehicles and verify repairs
  • Communicate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts
  • Work closely with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of recommended services and repair timelines
  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
  • Operate tools and equipment safely
  • Maintain accountability for dealership‑owned tools and manuals
Qualifications
  • Strong desire to learn and improve
  • Entry‑level automotive experience preferred, including diagnostic, electrical, or engine repair knowledge
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and physical dexterity
  • Team‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Positive attitude with a customer‑first mentality
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and repair procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
