Construction Laborer Job Overview
We are currently seeking motivated and dependable Construction Laborers to join our growing team. In this role, you will assist with a variety of construction projects by supporting skilled tradespeople, maintaining safe job sites, and helping ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule. Key Responsibilities- Assist construction crews, skilled tradespeople, and site supervisors with daily job site operations
- Prepare and maintain construction sites by removing debris and ensuring work areas remain safe and organized
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment
- Operate basic hand and power tools such as drills, saws, hammers, and compact machinery
- Assist with placing and finishing concrete
- Build and dismantle temporary structures including scaffolding, barriers, and forms
- Support site setup and general labor activities as needed
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines to maintain a safe work environment
- Perform routine site cleanup throughout and after project completion
- Complete additional tasks assigned by the foreman or superintendent
- Valid driver’s license or state-issued
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and time management skills
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous construction or general labor experience is a plus, but not required
- Basic knowledge of construction tools, materials, and safety practices preferred
