Client Service Coordinator
Client Service Coordinator ("CSC") drives the flow of clients and pets through the hospital, maximizing the productivity of the veterinary medical team and ensuring efficient and friendly client care.
Responsibilities- Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc.
- Recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route client/pet flow to support wellness plan clients.
- Maximize the number of pets seen by maintaining a productive hospital environment.
- Provide professional, efficient, and exceptional service: welcome clients, ensure client comfort, and educate about pet health.
- Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs, and hospital services.
- Assist incoming clients by completing required documentation, entering pet information and history into the computer, using proper identification collars and tags, and ensuring prompt service.
- Assist outgoing clients: provide instructions, invoices, dispense prescription items per veterinarian’s instructions, sell retail products, and schedule future appointments.
- Manage finances: maintain accurate balances and execute proper opening and closing procedures.
- Perform administrative functions as needed and other job duties as assigned.
- Leadership, customer focus, integrity & trust, action‑oriented, listening.
- Functional: knowledge of preventative care and OWPs, communication skills, client service skills, priority setting, time management.
- Ability to multi‑task, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and shift attention accurately.
- Strong written and verbal communication in fluent English.
- Organizational ability: systematic approach, orderly, and efficient.
- Problem‑solving skills: identify, analyze, and translate problems into practical solutions.
- Client service focus and personal satisfaction from service delivery.
- Intellectual and mathematical ability: follow instructions and perform calculations.
$15.00 – $17.70 per hour.
