Center Administrator

Position: CENTER ADMINISTRATOR
Location: Woodville

Mange staffing needs and changes immediately.

Manage mid-year and annual performance evaluations of Center staff.

Maintain an up-to-date listing of all staff credentials and records on professional development pursuit status for those pursuing degree course work to assure staff progress towards educational requirements as supported by MAP and Head Start Performance Standards.

Center Operations and Program Coordination Coordinate and arrangement of services in all functional areas, utilizing internal and external resources to provide quality services as deemed appropriate for each enrolled families to include but may not be limited to the following areas:

Education and Early Childhood Development Monitor all classrooms daily to observe staff: child interactions and to assure staff: child ratio is being maintained.

Mange staffing or T&TA needs identified.

Demonstrate experience in administration and supervision.

Strong knowledge of Head Start theories and practices of Early Childhood Development, Human Services and/or Human Development Working knowledge of Head Start and Child Care regulatory environment.

Bachelor's degree or above in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or an equivalent combination.

Demonstrated experience in office management, case management or related areas.

Working knowledge of child development or social service programs; human resources management or related area in a non-profit organization

Oral and written communication skills which facilitate and support positive feedback among operational levels.
