Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Principal/Sr. Principal Industrial Engineer Level 3/4 to support our Industrial Engineering Operations Management (IEOM) organization. This candidate will join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in Iuka, MS Responsibilities will include:
* Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently Power BI and data systems to develop performance visuals include: a relevant degree, experience with Power BI, data literacy (ETL, SQL, data modeling), ability to create and share dashboards, and strong communication skills for presenting actionable insights.

* Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints

* Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints

* Incorporates complex interdependencies within a system to account for the interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and tools

* Communicates requirements planning and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams

* Works with developers to design an interactive user interface that will be effective at scheduling jobs across cost centers

* Guides digital transformation efforts to align with sector and enterprise strategies

* Leads and drives positive change using iterative and agile methodologies

* Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance This requisition may be filled as a Principal Industrial Engineer level 3 or Sr. Principal Industrial Engineer Level 4 depending on the qualifications below. Basic Qualifications Principal Industrial Engineer Level 3:
* Bachelor's in STEM with 4 or more years of engineering experience in the following fields;
Manufacturing, Systems, Management, Mechanical, Process, Data Analysis ;

OR a Master's degree in STEM with 3 or more years of engineering in mentioned fields, OR;
PhD in STEM with 0 years of experience.

* Experience with Power BI and data systems to develop performance visuals include: experience with Power BI, data literacy (ETL, SQL, data modeling), ability to create and share dashboards, and strong communication skills for presenting actionable insights.

* Experience in Microsoft Office excel, including macros, data mining, and pivot tables or data visualization software applications.

* Ability to obtain and maintain DOD Security Clearance and Special Program Access in a reasonable amount of time as required by the business.

* Experience in leading prior teams

* Experience in Project Management Sr. Principal Industrial Engineer Level 4:
* Bachelor's in STEM with 8 or more years of engineering experience in the following fields;
Manufacturing, Systems, Management, Mechanical, Process, Data Analysis ;

OR a Master's degree in STEM with 6 or more years of engineering in mentioned fields, OR;
PhD in STEM with 4 years of experience.
