Job Description & How to Apply Below
Location: Stennis Space Center
Position title : USX Instructor Level 3 Location :
Stennis Space Center, Mississippi Clearance required : SECRET Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Expanded Scope:
Deliver classroom and hands-on training for USVs, emphasizing operations, tactical employment, and maintenance principles while ensuring compliance with UXSOP standards and DoD regulations.
* Instruction includes mission planning, airspace and maritime deconfliction, operational risk management, pre-flight/post-flight inspections, and integration of unmanned systems into tactical and logistical operations.
* Incorporate advanced unmanned system capabilities, such as multi-platform coordination (aerial and surface assets), to train for complex mission scenarios and higher-altitude, longer-endurance operational strategies.
* Train trainees on the roles of USVs in supporting SOF and conventional forces. Include ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), long-range targeting, supply chain support, and cross-domain maritime security using advanced unmanned systems.
* Teach the deployment of Group 3 platforms for kinetic and non-kinetic operations, demonstrating how unmanned systems act as force multipliers for SOF missions under combatant and non-combatant conditions.
* Emphasize how leadership integrates unmanned systems as part of tactical and operational planning. Train participants to command UXS to enhance situational awareness and enable real-time decision-making during small-unit operations.
* Leverage UAS for aerial reconnaissance and USVs for maritime surveillance alongside manned tactical formations, ensuring situational awareness during complex operational movements conducted day and night.
* Employ USVs as part of maritime interdiction and boarding missions, simulating real-time reconnaissance, threat identification, and situational support for tactical boarding teams in diverse conditions.
* Train leaders to integrate long-endurance and multi-platform unmanned systems into troop-leading procedures, focusing on data analysis, rapid risk assessments, and decision-making.
* Utilize Group 3 UAS and USV capabilities to support operational risk management. Focus on real-time data collection to assess terrain hazards, detect threats, and identify safe approach vectors during mission planning.
* Incorporate UAS and USVs to monitor land and maritime ranges during dynamic training operations, ensuring safety by providing high-angle video and surface-level monitoring for RSO (Range Safety Officer) duties.
* Teach mission planning with Group 3 UAS and USVs to optimize their unique ISR, communication relays, logistical support, and targeting capabilities. Incorporate real-time data from unmanned systems for more accurate operational tasking.
* Use USVs in conjunction with Group 3 UAS for tactical navigation in riverine and open-ocean conditions, focusing on route reconnaissance, environmental scanning, and situational updates.
* Augment land navigation training with input from UAS for terrain mapping, route safety assessments, and improved situational awareness for ground-based movements-day and night.
* Train teams to synchronize manned patrols with long-endurance UAS and USVs for persistent area coverage, target tracking, and enhanced situational awareness during extended operations.
* Use Group 3 UAS and biometric devices to track physical training performance. Include physical endurance scenarios simulating rugged deployments with integrated unmanned support systems.
* Teach the fusion of UAS- and USV-gathered data to optimize tactical routes over land and water. Emphasize their advantages in hazard detection and real-time adjustments for dynamic scenarios.
* Conduct combat reaction drills incorporating Group 3 UAS and USVs as mock adversaries or support assets to simulate realistic threat dynamics and tactical responses under pressure.
* Conduct special reconnaissance training with Group 3 UAS and USVs, focusing on stealth ISR operations, long-range monitoring, and integration into larger mission objectives such as target acquisition and situational reporting.
* Leverage UXS-assisted scenarios for post-mission debriefs to teach public speaking. Utilize UAS- and USV-obtained visuals to reinforce narrative-building during briefing exercises.
* Train international military and law enforcement personnel on Group 3 UAS and USVs, adapting to diverse technical experience levels. Include mentoring on multi-platform operational and tactical use cases relevant to regional security challenges.
* Expand training curricula to reflect the advanced capabilities of Group 3 UAS and USVs, integrating scenarios where they operate in tandem with other traditional and unmanned systems. Continuously update based on evolving technology and mission requirements.
* Evaluate existing training aids and recommend integrating advanced unmanned systems (Group 3 UAS and USVs) to enhance instructional capability for multi-domain operations and…
