Position:
Staff – Project Controls Associate
Position assigned in Scheduling or Cost Management or both. Under supervision performs routine project controls assignments. Focus on developing knowledge regarding scheduling, costing, and industry technology and project management.
Key ResponsibilitiesGain working knowledge of industry, technologies, project execution, cost, schedule, and financial systems. Understand general budgets.
Cost- Assist in cost reporting and tracking.
- Assist in maintenance of quantity reporting.
- Assist in managing change log.
- Understands B&V financial entity DOR and begins comprehension of financial acumen.
- Assist in schedule development and maintenance.
- Assist in schedule adherence reports.
- Assist in earned value reports.
- Assist with critical path and float analysis.
Four‑year bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
Minimum Qualifications- Four‑year bachelor’s degree or local equivalent required.
- Pre‑employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, motor vehicle records search) must be completed.
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after first 90 days based on manager discretion.
- Office environment requires sitting, talking, hearing, keyboard input, and seeing. Occasional travel up to 25% required.
- Construction site environment requires standing, kneeling, bending, stooping, moving, walking long distances. May work at heights above 5 feet, climb and maintain balance on stairs, ladders, scaffolds. Shift up to 12 hours. Work environment may involve confined spaces, extreme temperatures, inclement weather, hazardous equipment.
