As a key technical point of contact for a dedicated customer (or set of customers), you will coordinate the end-to-end technology program from early engagement to industrialization. You will:
- Lead technical interactions with customers in Silicon Photonics programs.
- Coordinate prototyping, R&D / product development and early industrialization activities.
- Ensure alignment across internal teams and that solutions meet customer requirements and business objectives.
- Contribute to technical decisions and trade-offs consistent with technology roadmaps and product strategy.
- Act as the primary technical interface for assigned customers in Silicon Photonics.
- Understand and consolidate customer requirements and specifications and ensure they are properly addressed internally.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities involving R&D, design, process, test, packaging, industrialization and quality to support customer milestones.
- Monitor program progress, anticipate risks, and contribute to mitigation plans to ensure delivery on time, with the expected performance and quality.
- Facilitate technical reviews and workshops with customers and internal experts, ensuring clear, consistent communication.
- Support the transition from development to production, contributing to manufacturability, reliability and yield objectives.
- Provide feedback to technology and product roadmaps based on customer interactions and emerging market needs.
Must-have:
- Proven experience as a Technical Program Manager, Project Manager, Product Development Leader, or similar role in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
- Solid technical understanding of Silicon Photonics and optical communications (e.g., transceivers, modulators, detectors, PICs).
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, design, process, test, packaging, industrialization and quality.
- Strong technical communication skills, able to interact with both customer technical teams and internal experts.
- Strong ability to analyze technical trade-offs, synthesize inputs from different stakeholders, and support data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple programs or work streams in parallel, prioritize effectively and deliver under tight schedules in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
- University degree (MSc or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics/Photonics, Microelectronics, or a related field.
Nice-to-have:
- Familiarity with wafer foundry business models, custom technology engagements and product lifecycle from concept to ramp.
- Experience in early industrialization / NPI (New Product Introduction): from engineering samples to volume ramp, including yield and reliability aspects.
If you are passionate about driving cutting-edge Silicon Photonics programs and working closely with leading customers in a dynamic and growing business, we would be pleased to receive your application.
