Manufacturing Engineer

Immediate need for a talented Manufacturing Engineer. This is a 06-12 Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in McHenry, MS (Onsite).   • Optimized Casting Process Designs:
    Updated designs and MBOMs that leverage advanced fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and casting techniques.
  • Robotic Integration Solutions:
    Implementation of robotic systems designed for precise material handling and casting operations, including programming and troubleshooting.
  • Control System Strategies:
    Comprehensive documentation and setup of control systems to ensure real-time monitoring and process stability during casting.
  • Demonstrated improvements in production efficiency and process reliability.
  • Successful, seamless integration of robotic systems within casting operations.
  • Positive feedback from cross-functional teams regarding quality control and process optimization.

Statement of Work (SOW) for Manufacturing Engineer:

  • The Manufacturing Engineer will lead the optimization of our casting processes by integrating advanced design methodologies with automation and control solutions.
  • This role will apply expertise in fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and solid rocket motor casting techniques to drive continuous improvement in our operations.
  • Design & Process Commissioning:
    Develop and refine casting designs and MBOMs to optimize process flow and quality.
  • Automation Integration:
    Design, integrate, and troubleshoot robotic systems for material handling and precise casting tasks.
  • Control Systems & Monitoring:
    Implement control systems using sensors, instrumentation, and automation software to continuously monitor casting parameters.
  • Quality & Process Optimization:
    Establish and execute quality control strategies to ensure defect-free casting operations.
  • Enhance the efficiency and reliability of casting processes.
  • Integrate advanced automation to streamline material handling and precision casting.
  • Implement robust control systems for real-time process monitoring.
  • Maintain high quality and consistency in casting through proactive process optimization.
  • Enhanced Design Models:
    Refined casting designs and MBOM updates incorporating advanced process insights.
  • Automation Systems:
    Fully integrated robotic systems, including necessary programming and troubleshooting protocols.
  • Control System Documentation:
    Detailed reports and operational guidelines for the implemented control systems and process improvements.
  • Design Optimization:
    Evaluate and enhance existing casting designs using advanced fluid dynamics and heat transfer principles.
  • Automation & Troubleshooting:
    Configure and manage robotic systems, ensuring precise and reliable casting operations.
  • Collaboration & Reporting:
    Maintain clear communication with cross-functional teams through regular updates and documented progress reports.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements to drive production excellence.
  • Immediate Start:
    Begin process enhancements and automation integration upon assignment.
  • Regular Reviews:
    Participate in weekly status meetings and design reviews to track ongoing progress.
  • Milestone Evaluations:
    Conduct periodic assessments at key project phases to ensure objectives are being met.
  • Increased production efficiency and throughput.
  • Successful integration and operation of robotic systems in casting.
  • Reduced defect rates and improved quality scores in casting operations.
  • Deliver weekly progress updates to the casting operations team.
  • Attend cross-functional review meetings to discuss design and process enhancements.
  • Consistently document and report improvements and their impact on production outcomes.
