The position is available in the "Equipment Engineering" team of the metal workshop within the Crolles 300mm plant at STMicroelectronics (Isère). This team supports a fleet of production equipment, ensuring the deposition of metallic layers on wafers in the context of microelectronics component manufacturing.

After an initial training period, the Engineer Responsible for Equipment (Tool Owner) gradually takes on the responsibility for their equipment park. Their role is to ensure the quality and robustness of wafer production on their equipment, combining engineering and maintenance support. They ensure the improvement of equipment maturity in their industrialization process. Guarantee of safety and efficiency of their equipment park, they are a key element in the continuous improvement of the production tool and support for the development of new technologies.

The scope of responsibility covers the entire lifecycle of production equipment:

  • Installation, qualification, and production start of new equipment;
  • Monitoring and reporting of performance indicators in collaboration with equipment manufacturers, analysis of causes of deviation from objectives, and follow-up of action plans related to the achievement of set objectives
  • Definition and evolution of preventive and conditional maintenance plans;
  • Definition and evolution of maintenance support tools (tools, procedures);
  • Optimization of the management of spare parts stocks (consumables, safety parts);
  • Support for high-level maintenance interventions (corrective);
  • Support for technician training;
  • Proposal and conduct of equipment improvement projects (mechanical or electrotechnical design, prototyping, retrofits, qualification plans for changes, …)

About you:

You have an engineering or Master II degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Mechanics, or Electrotechnics. You are curious, passionate about technology and continuous improvement, and you like working closely with the field and in direct contact with operational teams. You have a good level of autonomy and a good capacity for adaptation. You enjoy teamwork and are proficient in English.

Position open to recent graduates as well as experienced profiles.
