Position Summary:
- Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors.
- Vacuums and spot cleans carpets.
- Dusts furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dust mops floors.
- Polishes and cleans fixtures in utility room and bathrooms.
- Cleans fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, rest rooms, etc.
- Stocks supplies in rest rooms as needed.
- Remove solid linens, trash, bio-hazard from collection areas.
- Notifies supervisor regarding needed repairs: submits supply order sheets on a weekly basis.
- Gathers and disposes trash and waste materials.
- Assist and perform Laundry Tech Linen Handler functions as needed.
- Assist and perform Utility Tech functions as needed.
- Participates in educational programs and in-services.
- Attends meetings as required.
- High School education is preferred.
- One (1) year experience in healthcare and/or housekeeping role preferred.
