Job Overview
Mid South is hiring a Speech‑Language Pathologist to work weekly consistent PRN with our Rehab Therapy team at a local hospital in Magee, Mississippi.
Job LocationMagee General Hospital (Magee) – Magee, MS 39111
Position DetailsPosition Type: PRN
• Education Level: Masters
• Travel:
None
• Shift: Day
- Work 2–3 days each week in the afternoons (1pm – 5pm)
- Primarily provide pediatric outpatient speech‑language therapy, with occasional swing‑bed duties
- Treat children with autism, speech and language delays, and feeding issues
- Update parents on home exercises and goals and communicate effectively
- Collaborate with our Rehab Therapy team at the local hospital
- Participation in a 401(k) plan with company match
- Annual opportunity for active PRN employees to earn CEU’s
- Current unrestricted professional license to practice
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Passing score on the National Board Examination in Speech Language Pathology
- Completed clinical fellowship year with nine months of professional experience under supervision while employed as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and leadership abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
