What You ll Do

• Conduct psychological assessments based on clinical interviews and review of records
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
• Perform routine rounds in confinement areas to assess mental health status
• Provide individual counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, medical staff, and security personnel
• Contribute to the development and delivery of mental health programs aligned with facility needs
• Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress in accordance with facility protocols

What You Need
Required:

• Active or current license or board eligibility in psychology within Mississippi
• BLS certification (meeting compliance requirements)
• At least 2 years of clinical psychology experience in a relevant setting

Preferred:

• Experience working in correctional or controlled environment settings
• Knowledge of psychological counseling techniques applicable to inmate populations
