Director of Materials Management

Employment Type:

PRN (As Needed)

Schedule:

3 days a week 8:00am-4:30pm

We're seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PRN Materials Management Technician to step in when needed - helping ensure our staff always have the supplies and equipment necessary to provide exceptional patient care.

What You'll Do
  • Process supply requisitions from hospital departments promptly

  • Order, transport, and stock medical supplies and equipment

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders

  • Label supplies with charge/price stickers for accurate billing

  • Conduct inventory counts and maintains stock levels

  • Coordinate with vendors in the Director's absence

  • Follow all safety guidelines and wear PPE as needed

  • Assist with other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of Materials Management/Purchasing experience in a healthcare setting

  • Preferred: Medical terminology knowledge

  • Proficient computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with hospital staff

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills

  • Ability to work independently and under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Team player with a professional, friendly demeanor

  • Physical ability to lift, push, and move heavy supply loads, stand for long periods, and perform bending or twisting motions
