Job Summary

The Lead HR Business Partner is an advanced to mastery level position that aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The role supports HR partnerships to deliver value‑added services, participates in developing and continuously improving people programs, and acts as the face of HR for leaders up to VP/GM level. It requires a proactive individual who can navigate ambiguity, is passionate about people, and supports workforce performance.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and lead discussions of prioritized meetings related to people and talent programs within business units.
  • Consult and mediate with employees up to VP/GM level, providing appropriate HR guidance.
  • Identify trends and metrics, provide recommendations, and lead solutions for business outcomes.
  • Tell data‑driven stories clearly and concisely, considering audience and relevant data.
  • Conduct organizational assessments, identify root causes of performance gaps, design solutions aligned with business strategy, build capacity, and measure impact.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of labor relations and compliance to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership coaching and guidance for leaders up to VP/GM level.
  • Collaborate with leaders to improve work relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Translate and navigate HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Deliver consultative support on talent and culture initiatives.
  • Compose clear and empathetic messages for sensitive or challenging information.
  • Identify training and coaching needs for leaders and employees using data insights.
  • Lead and implement change management initiatives.
  • Act as liaison to optimize program impact with Centers of Excellence.
  • Develop and facilitate presentations and proposals using relevant data.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence to navigate challenging situations with empathy.
  • Advocate and recommend improvements to enhance employee experience and work environment.
Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience preferred.

Experience: Five (5)+ years of HR experience with a degree or seven (7)+ years of HR experience without a degree.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Business and financial acumen – provide strategic HR recommendations grounded in financial and workforce analysis.
  • Change management and leadership – lead initiatives, develop plans, and mobilize change networks.
  • Communication and stakeholder engagement – influence decisions, build relationships, navigate dynamics, and measure effectiveness.
  • Compliance and controls – provide guidance, develop policies, conduct assessments, and monitor performance.
  • Project management – manage HR projects from initiation to closure, including scope, schedule, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strategic alignment and vision – align HR guidance with organizational vision and business strategy.
  • Data interpretation – analyze data, build dashboards, partner on analytics, and measure impact.
  • Organizational development – conduct assessments, identify systemic issues, and measure improvement.
  • Talent management and workforce planning – develop strategies, forecast talent needs, and design acquisition and development plans.
  • Technology and AI – leverage advanced HR technology, design workflow solutions, extract and analyze data, implement AI processes, and manage performance.
