Role Description

The Human Resources Generalist at Sentry care Inc is a full-time, on-site role based in D'Iberville, MS. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day HR operations, including administering employee benefits, managing HR documentation, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and procedures. The Human Resources Generalist will assist with recruitment and onboarding, maintain employee records, and support performance management processes. Additional responsibilities include providing guidance to employees and managers on HR-related questions, coordinating training initiatives, and helping to foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications
  • Strong foundational knowledge in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience supporting daily HR operations.
  • Ability to develop, interpret, and implement HR Policies in alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and basic office software (e.g., MS Office); strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Previous experience in health care or a similar regulated environment is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
